Systemic Structural constellations (SYST®)

Systemic constellations are an effective method to bring about lasting changes. They help us reach greater clarity regarding decisions or personal relationships, tap into unknown personal strengths, establish and maintain healthy relationships and boundaries towards others, leave behind unpleasant past experiences or old belief systems and initiate new ways of thinking, feeling or acting. In the constellation, we make an inner situation that is experienced as problematic externally visible, that way allowing a new and more distanced perception of it. Solutions always arise individually from the inner dynamics of the system and the processes you go through during the constellation. Often, we see unknown relevant aspects, connections or inner resources. Your trust into your own perceptions, sensations and decisions is strengthened, and issues adopted from others or other generations can be resolved, to initiate inner changes and a reconnection with your inner self and life force. My way of hosting a constellation is always solution-focussed and closely oriented along your concern. On some occasions, it may be necessary to go through an inner process slowly and deliberately, whereas on other occasions, new options and sudden solutions may emerge once inner blockages, entanglements or confusions are removed.

Systemic Structural Constellations (SySt®) were developed by Insa Sparrer and Matthias Varga von Kibéd at the SySt Institute in Munich and encompass a multitude of formats, out of which the appropriate one is selected dependent on the client's concern. They differ in many ways from the tradition of Bert Hellinger, integrate hypnotherapeutic elements and are free from ideological premises. Outer systems such as families or organisations can be set as well as inner systems or abstract constructs such as decision alternatives, chronic somatic symptoms, personal beliefs, blockages regarding a particular goal, or even trauma or karmic issues.

Systemic Structural Constellations are well suitable for one-on-one counselling or therapy, especially for topics where more discretion is preferred by the client. Instead of real persons, I then work with paper anchors on the floor. That way, you are able to explore the different positions of the relevant elements in the system and gain new insights about their dynamics. A constellation commonly lasts for about two hours.
